Fernanda Uribe-Horta’s ceramic sculptures began as tiny, creature-like forms during a long recovery from a hand injury, when she had to sculpt with her left hand. Inspired by butterfly chrysalises, they echo the delicate construction of wings hidden within cocoons—structures of fragility and strength that mirror her own process of healing.
